WHAT DOES MLS MEAN?

MLS stands for "Multiple Listing Service" and is a database usually accessible only to real estate agents, where agents list and market properties to other agents.

WILL MY LISTING APPEAR ON ZILLOW, REALTOR, TRULIA ETC.?

Yes. Our plan includes full syndication to all major real estate websites, including Zillow, Redfin, Realtor.com, Trulia, ReMax, and many smaller sites as well.

SHOULD I OFFER A COMMISSION TO THE BUYER'S AGENT?

Some people don't, but we always recommend that you do. Most home shoppers are represented by a real estate agent, so you want you give the buyer's agent incentive to bring you buyers and help sell your home faster. Remember: with ReadyMLS, you've already saved the seller's agent commission of 3%. Refusing to offer the buyer's agent a commission usually hurts in the long run.

ABOUT US

ReadyMLS was born when two real estate entrepreneurs, Jarrod and Chris (see below), realized that selling a home was a terribly painful, inefficient and expensive experience. In 2016 Chris went to sell his home in a fire-hot Texas market. Despite market conditions, it sat and sat and sat, and the realtor was of no help in marketing the property. He finally fired the realtor and found a flat fee service to list it himself. He ended up accepting an offer and selling the home within 60 days, netting over $10,000 in savings the process.


Chris's friend Jarrod, meanwhile, was busy becoming a real estate broker and acquiring hundreds of rental homes, and was fed up with working with realtors in that process as well. It was then when Jarrod and Chris sat down and discussed how they could make this flat-fee listing process known to the masses, and thus ReadyMLS was born. We have been serving customers since 2017 and love nothing more than helping them save thousands when selling their home. We are a small team based just outside of Dallas and would love to take your call and help answer any questions you may have!

Jarrod brings a wealth of residential real estate experience to the ReadyMLS team. Over the last decade he has acquired and managed an impressive portfolio of hundreds of single family homes and manufactured communities. He has held a broker's license since 2014 and quickly saw a need for the service that ReadyMLS provides. Jarrod enjoys wearing cowboy boots and boating with his family.

Chris is a serial entrepreneur with a passion for marketing and real estate. Chris has started and sold several successful companies and received his MBA from TCU. Chris and Jarrod founded ReadyMLS with the goal of giving all home sellers another option to FSBOs and realtors. Chris enjoys ultrarunning and eating good tacos, sometimes at the same time.
